Disneyland Fun & Family Photos

The above pictures are some fun ones from our day at Disneyland. We started early and stayed late. The girls did amazing! We started the day at "It's a Small World" which was perfect and ended it with the fireworks. In between we met princesses, did some kid rides in the Bugs Life area of California Adventure, then the big kids (us and Kayleen) did the fast rides while the girls napped with Grandma. After nap Danielle went on Dumbo, the carousel and Autopia. Then we had dinner and it was time for fireworks. A very tiring, but very fun day was had by all!

On Father's Day we had a very nice BBQ with the Miller family. Samantha met lots of family members and they all thought she was a fantastic baby. It's hard to believe in a few weeks she'll be 6 months old! She really was a terrific traveller. Good thing because we're going to do this again at Christmas.

Little Girls & Disney Princesses

We had a wonderful visit with family in Southern California. One highlight of the trip was our day at Disneyland. This post is all the pictures of the girls with the princesses at Disneyland. Danielle loved meeting them, telling them her stories, and giving hugs. Grandma took us to lunch at a place where princesses come to your table while you're eating. Delicious food and special entertainment. It was neat. Danielle's favorite princesses are Ariel and Cinderella, but she was thrilled to meet them all. There are lots more pictures from the day but they will come in another post. Jeff was a real trooper, helping her visit with them and getting their pictures taken. He even waited in a very long, long line where you can meet the princesses (this is before we knew they would all be at the lunch and come to our table).

What's New?!

While they might be little things to most people, to us these are exciting and/or cute! The first picture is Danielle's first smiley face drawing (in red). She drew hers first and showed it to us. I had Daddy draw one next to hers so you could see that she was trying to draw it like Daddy! I thought it was precious.

Samantha has started the ever-so-cute toe sucking stage. I finally got a picture of her with both toes ready to be slurpped!

ABC's

I'm a little slow on figuring out how to put video on my blog. So, this is Danielle singing her ABC's a few months ago. Enjoy the video, I figure there will be more videos to come as Samantha begins to roll, crawl, etc.

Roommates

Well, we are trying out Danielle and Samantha sharing a room. Danielle loves it...I think Samantha will adjust fine. She is sure an easy-going baby. So far Samantha sleeps through Danielle talking herself to sleep and Danielle sleeps through Samantha if she cries in the night

It is neat to read, pray and then tuck them both in at once and know that both my babies are together. My hope is that this is the beginning of them always being there for eachother. Danielle wakes up first in the mornings and just quietly leaves the room and lets Samantha sleep. I was impressed by that. So, we'll see...
