Checking My Blog For Updates?

I'm sad to say that this blog is going to have to end.  I ran out of free space for photos so I will no longer be updating this blog.  I'm not sure if I will find a new blog site to use that is easy and free.  I will update facebook once in a while and hopefully soon find a way to get another blog going.

Meanwhile we are blessed and enjoying each day with our sweet girls.

So happy to see Tori!  First thing Danielle did was go get a book (Hop On Pop) and read to her.  Sweet.

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma, Grandpa Dennis all the aunts and Uncle John.  We enjoyed all of the Christmas festivities.  Yummy food, Christmas movies, and lots of family time.  The girls got many great gifts that they can't wait to put to use.  Lots of great kitchen items (a snow white spatula for flipping pancakes, a hello kitty mixer for making cupcakes, cute aprons, etc.) and tons of craft projects, too. 

Soon I will post pictures of our day at Disneyland.  More great fun!

I should also add that Mom and Dad are very happy, too.  This is a wonderful set up with so much drawer space, a queen bed for company when they come, and beds big enough for both girls.  I also like that they each have their own lamp to turn on/off for reading, etc.  Having only one lamp was a bit of a battle prior to bunk beds and their own lamps.

I've spent the days since we got home from our trip organizing, organizing, organizing.  Whew!  Finally all the new stuff has a home and the girls room looks great.  Nice way to start the new year.

Danielle has spent most of this year learning to play the piano.  She takes lessons from Grammie each week and then practices at home on her little "toy keyboard".  Well, Grammie & Grandpa gave her this new keyboard for Christmas and I bet this next year we will get to hear her make beautiful music on it!!  I just had to share these photos of her playing Christmas music for us on our Christmas morning. 

Of course I know when she gets serious about playing piano she will need her feet on the floor always.

Christmas Is Here

One of our Christmas traditions.  Making my grandma's sugar cookies and decorating them.  I love that we do this with my family.  The girls decorate the cookies for Santa and the one they want to eat.  After that they lose interest but the rest of us have a good time finishing the job. 

It always takes me awhile to get the blog updated when we travel for Christmas.  So, these photos are from 2 1/2 weeks ago when we celebrated Christmas with my family.
